Skill India is a scheme launched by the Government of India in 2015. Under this scheme many skilling schemes and programmes have been launched to give vocational and entrepreneurial training to youth of India. The objective of this scheme is to empower the youth with specialised job-oriented skills that will enhance their talent and create new employment opportunities for them.
